About
I have always wanted to work in the medical field and after exploring several medical professions, I decided that podiatry was the perfect fit for me. I enjoy the variety of pathology that podiatry encompasses, even just
within the foot and ankle.
In my practice, I see patients of all ages and all issues related to the foot and ankle, including routine foot care, pediatrics, wounds, and neuromuscular disorders. I take a particular interest in sports injuries, trauma, and deformity correction. I take a conservative approach with my patients, always attempting a nonsurgical avenue when possible. I do, however, have extensive training in surgical procedures of the foot and ankle when necessary.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of working in healthcare is forming personal connections with my patients. I believe it is important to have a good rapport with my patients and I value the patient physician team approach for treatment plans. I am committed to doing everything I can to help my patients, and if I cannot, I will do my best to find someone who can.
Outside of work, I have many interests and enjoy staying active. Some of my hobbies include hiking, kayaking, camping, yoga, traveling, volunteering, and running, and I am always looking for new things to experience. My dog, Tika, accompanies me on many of my activities. I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but have lived in several other states as well, including Minnesota, Iowa, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Oregon, and New Mexico.
