About
Education
- Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies, Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, Baton Rouge, LA
I became interested in urology during my rotation in my physician assistant program – I loved the surgical aspect, and it was a unique field. I sub-specialize in helping treat advanced prostate cancer, but I have a wide variety of general urological experience and clinical skills.
In our office, we focus not only on prostate and kidney cancer, but also on robotic and laparoscopic surgeries, including robotic prostatectomy, robotic partial nephrectomy, robotic ureteral reimplantation, robotic nephroureterectomy, robotic pyeloplasty and percutaneous stone surgery. We also treat and manage benign prostatic hyperplasia and other general urologic procedures.
My patients say I’m compassionate, understanding and down-to-earth when I meet with them to discuss their care. I strive to make everything a shared, educated decision – and my goal is to create a relationship while treating the patient.
When I’m not with patients, I’m spending time with my family, riding horses, hiking, kayaking, reading, meditating or doing yoga.
