About
As a board-certified urologic surgeon, I focus on conditions like enlarged prostate (BPH), kidney stones, prostate cancer, elevated PSA, bladder cancer, dysfunctional voiding and other urologic challenges.
I take pride in treating each patient with respect and dignity, which they deserve. Many urologic conditions are treatable, and there is no higher satisfaction than to hear a patient say, “You changed my life.” I strive to keep current on urologic treatment and surgical procedures in order to achieve the best outcome for all patients.
In urology, patient comfort is key. If patients are feeling apprehension, it helps them to know that our team understands these are sensitive topics. I explain what we are going to be doing, emphasizing that the patient can bring up and discuss anything at all. We have compassion and empathy about what they’re going through, and we always do our best to show how much we care.
When I’m not with patients, I enjoy spending time with my family and my golden retriever, Winnie – as well as bicycling, hiking, running, reading and playing tennis.
