About
With rapidly evolving technology and increasing access to information, it can be difficult to know what treatment options are best for you. With nearly 20 years of experience practicing obstetrics and gynecology, I have helped navigate my patients through these trends and found the best option for their needs.
As an OB/GYN, I have the privilege of treating women at every stage of their life. It is the greatest honor to be part of a women’s pregnancy journey. I take pride in partnering with my patients to create a childbirth experience that is tailored to them. In addition, with new genetic testing and clearer imaging available today, we are able to better prepare and provide exceptional options for care.
When dealing with a specific gynecologic problem, it can interfere with a woman’s ability to participate in many aspects of her life. The beauty of minimally invasive laparoscopic, robotic, hysteroscopic and vaginal surgeries is they allow for a quicker recovery, which, in many cases, equals a quicker return to daily activities.
I am committed to keeping abreast with the latest technologies while keeping sharp my classic vaginal gynecologic surgery skills. It’s vital to take time explaining the different options to patients so they feel well informed.
Common benign gynecologic issues include menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, endometriosis, pelvic prolapse, stress urinary incontinence and abnormal pap smear, to name a few. Like so many women, I too experienced issues that have limited my ability to do the things I love. It is from this perspective that I am able to relate with my patients.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my daughter, exercise and traveling. I am fluent in English, Spanish and French.
