About
I earned a family nurse practitioner degree at Frontier Nursing University in Hyden, KY. I also has an adult nursing practice degree from St. Louis University in St. Louis, MO.
I have loved medicine since I was young, spending my teenage years volunteering at a hospital and choosing to become a nurse at a young age. After more than 20 years as an RN, I chose to continue my education and become a nurse practitioner.
My favorite part of my job is getting to make connections with patients. As a family medicine practitioner, there is nothing I love more than getting to see families grow, and caring for different generations of the same family. I try
to treat my patients the way I would want to be treated, and make sure they feel like I have answered their questions and addressed their concerns.
I treat patients of all ages, and enjoy caring for patients with chronic conditions. I perform well woman exams and sports physicals, and am able to do procedures like drainages and wart removals in the office. I also see patients in the hospital at Northwest Medical Center Sahuarita. As a hospitalist, I care for patients who are in the hospital, and communicate closely with their primary care providers about their plan of care.
Outside of work, I enjoy camping, being active in my church, and spending time with family.
