About
Education
Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies:
Temple University, Philadelphia
I grew up playing sports – including NCAA Division 1 volleyball – so I know firsthand how it feels to be on the other side of an injury and wanting to get back in the game. For some patients, the game involves a field or a court, but for others, it may just mean walking, sitting or sleeping pain-free.
As an orthopedic PA, I oversee patients’ continuity of care from beginning to end – pre-op; casting; splinting; cortisone injections; and more. Fractures, dislocations, ligament injuries and infections can be simple or complex, and I love having the right orthopedic tool for every job.
I have the most experience with hip and knee replacements, but enjoy being a part of all types of surgeries, including ACL repairs and fixing fractures.
I want my patients to be able to say that I’m compassionate and empathetic, with a great bedside manner. I believe that anyone can see patients, but not everyone can relate to them – and that part is just as important.
Outside of work, I play in a volleyball league. I also like to read, hike, and watch sports.
