About
Education
- Physician Assistant Studies, Western University of Health Sciences, Pomona, CA
After working for seven years in family practice, I chose to pursue a future in pain management because I knew I could help people in this specialty. I have watched people close to me suffer in chronic pain, so I have a deep empathy for what these patients go through as they seek a better quality of life.
I have specialized in treating patients with back pain, joint pain, neuropathic pain, migraine, and spasticity. My goal is to see my patients living a better quality of life and to help them get back to their daily activities.
When I evaluate a patient’s pain, I look at all contributing factors including diet, sleep, stress, and mobility. My philosophy is to keep trying different treatment options until we find relief. When we find a successful treatment, we celebrate – whether relief lasts for days, weeks, months or years.
When not caring for my patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our three children. I enjoy painting classes and being an active participant in my children’s activities. I also enjoy running and completing 5K races and runs in my spare time.
