About
I first became interested in medicine with the help of an enthusiastic high school biology teacher. I loved learning about how living things work, but I knew I didn’t want to be a scientist. Medicine is a perfect blend of science and art, and I love the broad spectrum of work that comes with being a general surgeon. I like being able to see a problem, fix it immediately and get my patients back to their lives as quickly as possible.
In my practice, I treat a wide range of conditions performing surgery for hernias, gallbladder, diverticulitis, hemorrhoids, benign colon diseases and more. I have a special interest in performing many procedures with robotic assistance. My patients tell me they appreciate my diligence and ability to listen to their symptoms and concerns. I believe in treating each patient like they were a friend or family member and work hard to earn and keep their trust.
I completed my residency training in Tucson and am proud to have the privilege to serve this community. In my free time, I enjoy golf, cooking, reading, travel and spending time with my wife and son.
