Dr. Anthony Galeo joined Desert Cardiology in 2014.
As an experienced interventional cardiologist, Dr. Galeo specializes in procedures to open blockages in the heart's blood vessels including placing stents, chronic total occlusion (CTO) procedures, pacemaker implantation and evaluation and minimally invasive treatment of peripheral artery disease.
He developed an interest in this discipline because patients experience immediate results and it is a branch of cardiology that is constantly making exciting advances in the field of cardiology. He enjoys applying both the science and the people aspects of medicine to help improve his patients’ health.
