About
As a board-certified urologist, I have had the pleasure of serving the Tucson community since 2011. I’m wholly dedicated to men’s health; specifically, restoring sexual function when physical issues interfere with it. Men often have a difficult time admitting there’s a problem – and they often put off making a doctor’s appointment to discuss that problem – but I’m here to patiently listen to their unique stories and help guide them to a comfortable and workable path for their treatment.
I enjoy the challenge of treating all adult urologic ailments, but I have a particular interest in using robotic and laparoscopic techniques to treat cancers of the prostate, kidney and bladder. I also perform vasectomies and vasectomy reversals; help find solutions for erectile dysfunction (including penile implants); and treat Peyronie’s disease.
Kidney stones are very common in this region. I am committed to providing the latest and most current treatments for kidney stones, including laser lithotripsy and extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy. Most importantly, I believe in the different modalities to prevent the formation of future stones.
As men age, they often develop benign prostatic hyperplasia (commonly known as an enlarged prostate) which can lead to frustrating, uncomfortable urinary symptoms. My extensive experience diagnosing and treating this condition can help improve my patients’ overall quality of life. It may be a common complaint, but that doesn’t mean patients need to live without treatment that can provide some relief and significant improvement in their quality of life.
During my free time, I enjoy hiking, deep sea fishing, bowling, karaoke, and – most importantly – spending time with my wife and three children. I am also an accomplished bass guitarist of over 30 years.
