About
My interest in helping people live better and longer lives drives my passion as a cardiologist. Cardiovascular disease remains the leading health problem in the United States and worldwide. I approach patient care from a proactive standpoint, educating patients about ways to improve their cardiovascular health.
I love photography because pictures are precise and can tell a story. I am also mathematically oriented and enjoy approaching and finding solutions to complex problems through careful analysis of data. The same is true in cardiology. I enjoy interpreting echocardiograms, nuclear studies and stress tests as they tell me the story about my patient’s heart health and lead me to the best available treatment options. I also perform transesophageal echocardiograms for valvular heart disease and electrical cardioversions to restore normal heart rhythms.
Tucson has been my home since 1994 when I moved here after high school. As a graduate of the University of Arizona and having served as an assistant professor of medicine at the University of Arizona, I am committed to life-long learning. Keeping up-to-date on the latest advances in cardiology is important to me so that I can deliver the best care and treatment plans for my patients. My goal is to always provide excellent care. I am clear in my communication and thorough in my explanations. My patients have told me they know I have their best interest at heart and that my concern for them is genuine. My ultimate objective is that my patients have good outcomes.
It is a true privilege and honor to serve my patients and communities of Southern Arizona.
When I have the opportunity outside of work, I enjoy fitness, skiing, hiking, UA basketball and football, history, traveling and spending time with my friends and family.
Fluent in English and Polish.
