About
As a complement to my college experience, I spent a couple of years in Brazil providing humanitarian service. This experience was fundamental in my decision to pursue a career providing valuable assistance to individuals in need. I returned to the United States with intent to finish undergraduate studies and pursue a medical degree so that I could become a family physician.
I chose family medicine because of the diverse experience in caring for a newborn baby or a 90-year-old patient. I enjoy the ability to treat an entire family with the broad range of health conditions that come with each stage of life. I am able to perform many procedures in the office, often eliminating the need for patients to seek treatment elsewhere. In addition to general preventative medicine, I am also trained in and practice sports medicine and women’s health services.
My goal is to put the patient’s needs first, making sure each patient leaves my office with their needs met and questions answered. Instead of rushing out, I try to leave a few minutes at the end of each appointment to discuss any final questions or concerns.
In addition to work at Northwest Allied Physicians, I serve as a flight surgeon in the United States Air Force Reserve. I also volunteer as Fight Doctor for USA Boxing, medical support for the Rock and Roll Marathon, and medical support at Ironman events.
Procedures offered in-office include:
- Joint injections
- Skin cancer biopsies
- Vasectomy
- IUD insertion/removal
- Circumcision
Please call the office to inquire about additional procedures performed.
