About
The primary reason I chose a career in obstetrics and gynecology is to support women through their many life changes while maintaining good health and well-being. My interest in female reproductive health has led to a passion for supporting women through the provision of a wide range of obstetric and gynecological health services.
The versatility of both obstetrics and gynecology provides me with the opportunity to make a positive health impact not only on my patients, but their families, through all stages of life. I appreciate the relationships that I form with my patients and the ability to listen and use my education and compassion to provide positive health outcomes. I enjoy establishing open communication and building trust with my patients to help in achieving their health goals. Working together through both the happiest and sometimes most difficult times in a woman’s life, we are able to address their health care concerns. Patients would say that I am empathetic and relatable, and always do my best to identify the root cause of their issues.
Areas of specialization include minimally-invasive surgical approaches, including robot-assisted surgery, and other procedures such as hysteroscopy to provide quick relief from gynecologic issues that may negatively impact patients. Additional areas of interest include addressing medical issues like endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, menopause, pelvic prolapse, as well as complex pregnancy conditions such as hypertension and diabetes. I also provide specialized counseling on surgical approaches, contraceptive management, and family planning methods to best fit the patients’ needs.
Outside of the office, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two sons. I also enjoy travel, golf, and interior design.
