- Master of Science in Nursing, Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ
As a board-certified nurse practitioner with many years of clinical patient care experience, including perioperative and surgical care, I know how important it is to build good rapport with the patients who trust me with their GI health.
When patients come in to our office, they are often experiencing uncomfortable or painful gastrointestinal conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease or other issues that are significantly impacting their quality of life. It is vital to approach these conditions with a wide-ranging suite of diagnostic and management methodologies, including referrals to other specialists as needed.
Whatever the problem may be, and whether it’s acute or chronic, GI-related issues must be addressed promptly and approached conscientiously by both patient and provider. If you find your daily focus revolving around your abdominal pain, nausea, difficulty staying regular or always needing to know the location of the nearest restroom, it’s impossible to enjoy your life to the fullest. It's my mission to guide your treatment with the highest quality of life in mind.
I strive to discuss and explain complex medical issues in a way that is easy to understand, and to treat and manage their conditions with empathy and compassion.
When I’m not with my patients, I enjoy yoga, swimming, classic cinema and gaming - both online and in-person, as well as spending time with my family.
