About
Education
- Master of Science in Nursing, Grand Canyon University, Phoenix, AZ
I have had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Grace Hou, M.D., for the past eight years – an experience which has profoundly shaped my clinical development in breast health. I began my career as a medical assistant, became a registered nurse and breast health navigator, and am now a family nurse practitioner in the same specialty.
My training has provided me with invaluable mentorship and hands-on experience to a wide spectrum of breast care – from diagnosis and surgical coordination to treatment support and survivorship planning. Through years of collaboration, I have developed advanced clinical insight into breast disease management, as well as a deep understanding of the clinical, emotional and psychosocial needs of patients navigating a breast cancer diagnosis.
All I have learned – and continue to learn – about surgery, meticulous clinical standards and dedication to patient-centered care, shapes my approach as an FNP. My goal is to offer patients evidence-based practice, compassion and continuity of care in support of every stage of their breast health journey.
When I’m not with patients, I love exploring the outdoors through hiking, traveling and camping. Whether it's discovering new trails or setting up camp under the stars, I find joy in adventure and nature. At home, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and my beloved pets – two wonderful Great Danes and a cat who keep life entertaining. My animals and family are an important part of my life, and I cherish the moments spent with them. Whether on the road or at home, I appreciate the simple joys of companionship, adventure and relaxation.
