I am a board-certified general surgeon with extensive training and experience across a broad range of surgical disciplines. My approach to care is grounded not only in clinical knowledge, but also in personal experience.
At the age of 11, I developed a large abdominal cyst that went undiagnosed despite multiple medical evaluations. It was ultimately a skilled and attentive physician who recognized the condition and provided life-saving treatment. That experience shaped my path in medicine and instilled in me a deep commitment to being the kind of doctor who listens, advocates and delivers answers when they matter most.
Today, I bring that commitment to every patient I treat. My areas of focus include trauma and acute care surgery, as well as open and minimally invasive procedures, including robotic and laparoscopic techniques. I strive to provide precise, high-quality surgical care tailored to each individual’s needs.
Patients often describe my approach as honest, clear and straightforward. I believe in taking the time to ensure patients fully understand their diagnosis, as well as the risks and benefits of all available treatment options. Whenever possible, I work collaboratively with patients to align care decisions with their goals and preferences.
When I’m not with patients, I enjoy fishing and playing billiards, and I am currently learning the game of golf.
