About
When I was 16 years old, I developed a severe allergic reaction, and my doctors were so concerned with my well-being that it left a lifelong impression on me – and started me on the path to becoming a physician. I knew that, for me, it was the best way to help people. I entered a fast-track medical school program that I loved – while it was a demanding initiation to medicine, it was also a wonderful way to learn the clinical skills I needed to support my passion of helping people.
I’m an extrovert who is genuinely interested in my patients – they would tell you that I get to know you as a person, not just treat whatever is making you sick or causing you pain. Patients trust me enough to tell me what’s going on with them, and vent if they need to. At the end of the day, they know someone has listened to them. I also strive to be as responsive and accessible as possible.
I treat a wide range of illnesses and minor injuries, with a focus on healthy lifestyles and preventive care. I am also interested in integrative medicine - including traditional Chinese medicine, Ayurvedic medicine and the Noetic approach – which is where the philosophy of science, the study of consciousness and different contemplative traditions intersect.
When I’m not with patients, I love spending time with my wife and three young children – as well as keeping fit with calisthenics and power sports, playing guitar and learning new languages.
