Biography
Dr. Michael Yim is a board-certified family medicine physician who enjoys treating patients of all ages. Building a long-lasting relationship and a sense of trust with each patient is important to him. He tries to not just treat the reason for the visit, but to truly connect, taking the necessary time to answer questions. Dr. Yim believes in the “family rule” -- what would I do if this was my family member? -- and uses this philosophy when discussing treatment options with his patients.
In addition to his traditional medical training, Dr. Yim completed a course in structural acupuncture and incorporates acupuncture into treatment plans when appropriate.
Dr. Yim is fluent in Chinese, English and Spanish. He is accepting new patients and accepts most insurance plans.
