Beth A. Martin, M.D.
"My choice to become a physician was a natural one. Both of my parents were surgeons and as child I enjoyed making rounds with them. As a surgeon, I can help patients navigate the steps related to their surgical procedures. It is my priority to provide patients a clear picture of the preoperative issues, the risks and the intended outcomes. I focus on communicating without using medical “jargon” so patients easily understand. I invest the time to assure my patients know what is involved with their procedure and the post op care plan. I am honest and direct because I value my patient’s trust, and treat them how I would want members of my own family to be treated. As a surgeon, my goal is to provide quality care and follow my patients through their recovery. It is important to me to demonstrate compassion. "

Jennifer Tartaglia, M.D.
"After deciding as a sophomore in high school that I wanted to become a doctor, I spent much time in medical school discovering a specialty I could be passionate about. I chose to be an ear, nose and throat (ENT) physician because I discovered I loved the detailed and delicate anatomy of the head and neck.
My patients are very trusting and I respect and reciprocate their trust. When I am with a patient, that patient is the only person who exists for me. I am honest, compassionate and my philosophy is “it’s all about doing the right thing for the patient.”

Sarah Lee, M.D., FACS
"I am passionate about providing quality care and building relationships with my patients. I understand that a warm and caring bedside manner is almost as important as a surgeon’s competency and skills in the operating room. I will take the time to answer questions, address concerns and make sure patients understand their options.
I also strive to build strong relationships with other physicians, nurses and the patient’s entire medical team so the patient can be assured he or she is receiving comprehensive, quality care."

Larissa Allen, M.D.
I believe patients would describe me as honest, patient, and a good listener. I review and explore every symptom with the utmost attention. If a gastrointestinal problem is affecting a person’s quality of life, it is important to me. I always communicate with patients about what I am doing and why, and am eager to hear their input as well.
I have special interests in GERD, esophageal motility and women’s health. My goal is to ensure patients feel comfortable to speak freely about their symptoms. Together, we can find the source of the problem and design an effective treatment plan. "
